Ton van der Weegen (1963)
Ton van der Weegen is Managing Partner of De Man & Partners. His core activities mainly focus on the sectors industry, healthcare, technology, media and telecom.
After being active in the (top) sports and semi government for several years, Ton started his business career as a Project Manager at an international marketing agency. From 1997 he worked as Branch Director at an international recruitment agency. In 1999 he fulfilled the position of Consultant at FourM, a partner of The Marlar International Network, where he carried out (inter) national recruitment and executive search projects.
In 2000, Ton founded the executive search firm Triquant, which merged in 2004 with EMA Partners in the Netherlands. From 2006 he has been Partner and Senior Consultant with De Man & Partners. Ton has, among others, specific experience in search assignments for directorships, senior management positions and senior commercial positions in various business sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, automation and business services.
Ton holds a degree in Social Cultural Sciences from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a Bachelor Senior Management degree from the University of Groningen.
Furthermore Ton has followed various training programmes on Corporate Governance and acquisition of companies.
Wim de Man (1944)
Wim de Man is Principal Consultant at and Adviser to De Man & Partners. His specialism includes industry, trade, transport and logistics. In 1984, Wim established "De Man & Partners executive search consultants". He is also one of the founders of EMA Partners International, an international executive search network, where he was elected Chairman of the firm in 1995. Wim de Man has, among others, specific experience in search assignments for directors and senior management positions in various industries, including manufacturing, transport, logistics, shipping and offshore.
Wim started his career at sea as an Engineer at Nedlloyd. Once ashore, he worked five years as Product Manager at VMF Stork. In 1977, Wim was nominated General Manager of Technical Employment Agency Kütemann. And in 1978 he was appointed General Manager of Kütemann Industrial Services. Following the merging of this company with Multi Hold, he joined the Executive Board of Directors of this organization. During this period he also was a Non-Executive Board Member at several other companies.
Wim de Man is Non-Executive Board Member at Enkev Holding.
Education: Wim de Man graduated in Mechanical Engineering. He also recieved a diploma in Business Administration from the Small Business School, a educational programme that was affiliated with the Technical University of Delft.
Arjen van der Ploeg (1972)
Arjen is Research Consultant at De Man & Partners. He has over 14 years HR and Research experience, giving him a unique insight into the entire executive search process. Arjen has, amongst others, conducted search assignments in the industry, technology, media and telecom sector at all levels, including senior executive leadership positions, across all functions.
Arjen started his business career as Human Resource advisor at the VPRO, a public broadcast and media company. In 1998 he joined FourM Executive Search in the position of Research Consultant. During three years he carried out (inter)national recruitment and executive research projects. The last 10 years he worked as recruitment and Human Resource Manager of IT -and industrial companies. Arjen received a bachelor degree in Human Resource Management from The Windesheim College in The Netherlands.
Ton den Braber (1951)
Ton den Braber is a Principal Consultant at De Man & Partners. His area of expertise includes technically oriented enterprises in a business-to-business environment. He worked as an interim-manager and director of industrial companies for some time and during this time was general director of Allen-Bradley Europa bv (now Rockwell Automation), Nematron Europa bv (industrial computers and software) and Weidmüller bv (electronic connection techniques).
Ton's technical background has also led to him gaining extensive experience putting together and motivating teams, guiding and developing organisations and revitalising and implementing structural changes. He has healthy commercial insight that has been developed as a result of overseeing entrepreneurs and management teams on both an operational and organisation level.
Since 2001, as a self-employed business man, Ton has concentrated on projects involving innovative companies, for whom he has recruited and selected top officials and managers. The increasing demand for Senior Managers for permanent management and supervisory positions led to him starting work for De Man & Partners in June 2009.
Ton attended Technical College and studied electrical engineering, supplemented with ICT training. In addition, he has taken numerous managerial courses within the area of international management, including the Senior Management Development Programme at Ashridge Management College in the UK.
Marco Sneevliet (1961)
Marco is Principal Consultant at the Dutch office of Horton International. Marco has extensive experience in the Financial sector (Banking and Insurance), IT, E-Commerce and Government.
A management development program in the banking environment substantiated his expertise and resulted in his function as Consultant and Interim Manager on senior management level. Subsequently, he acted as Consultant and Interim Managing Director at various insurance offices of the ING Group. Following his active interest in IT, Marco made a transition to Centric, where he made a major contribution to the development of Centric as leading contract partner for IT outsourcing in The Netherlands. After holding positions of Managing Director and CEO at Conclusion and All Finance Professionals, Triple Deal (best Emerce company 2006) and Verza NV, Marco became self employed in 2007, and has been active as entrepreneur and Interim Manager in various positions and companies.
Marco studied Business Administration, ITIL Service Management and he is Prince - certified.
Marco utilizes his extensive expertise in business organization to support his current activities in the Executive Search Consultancy.
